FAQ

  • What is the best way to contact Nexus Law?

Email us at info@nexuslaw.us or by scheduling an appointment through “book now” button on top right of the website. Please include your name, email, phone, MetLife ID (if applicable) and a brief description of your matter. We will reach out to you promptly to help you schedule.

  • When is the attorney-client relationship established?

The attorney-client relationship is formally established only after the following steps:

Engagement Agreement: Both the client and the firm have signed a written engagement agreement.

Fee Agreement: The fees have been mutually agreed upon.

This process aligns with Washington State Bar Association guidelines and the Rules of Professional Conduct, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding before commencing legal representation.

  • What is covered under insurance?

Coverage is limited to attorney consultation hours and depends on the specific matter. Any additional costs — such as printing, filing, state or federal fees, notary fees, shipping cost, registration fees, or other miscellaneous payments must be paid by the client “out of pocket”.

  • Are meetings virtual or in-person?

Most of our initial appointments are done virtually through Microsoft Teams. And yes, we do also accept in-person meetings upon requests.

  • Which insurances are accepted and what services are covered?

As of now at Nexus Law, we are only accepting MetLife LegalPlan Insurance for the following services:

Estate Planning: Trust (no tax planning), Will, Power of Attorney, Health Care Directive

Immigration: Family and employment based matters

Real Estate: Sale, purchase, lease of real property, tenant issues

Business law and Tax planning are NOT covered
